Mr. Banks received his law degree from St. Mary's University of San Antonio in 1981 and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1982. He served as an assistant and chief municipal judge in College Station from 1984-1992. During this time, he also served as an Instructor for the Texas Municipal Courts Training Center during his tenure as Judge.
Mr. Banks has served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Municipal Court Association and as a special prosecutor in Hearne , Texas .
He is a member of the Brazos County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Trial Lawyer Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Banks and Crime Attorneys have been co counsel in the past and are looking forward to working together in the future.
