John Tullis, Esquire
Mr. Tullis has successfully represented clients throughout Kentucky , from petty misdemeanors to serious felonies, and has practiced law for 11 years. He is admitted to practice in the state of Kentucky , before the United States District Court, Western District of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Tullis and Crime Attorneys have been co counsel in the past and are looking forward to working together in the future.
Mr. Tullis graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1986 and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1992. Some of his notable cases include:
U.S. vs. Taylor
Mr. Tullis successfully convinced the Sixth Circuit that his client did not "use" a firearm in connection with a crime of violence. The defendant's sentence was subsequently reduced by 30 years.
Kentucky vs. Payne
Mr. Tullis successfully obtained an acquittal for an individual charged with driving under the influence after a blood alcohol test indicated his BAC was .181. |
